actual useful electronic gloves

Research engineers have been working on developing specialty electronics that can be embedded into surgical gloves to, literally, give extra tools at the fingertips. Flexible silicon-based electronics and special soft sensors formed the core of the research that aimed to provide guidelines to building actual useful electronic gloves of the future. The team envisions that surgeons one day will be able to use their fingers to identify tissue and be able to immediately ablate it without reaching for another instrument.
